Business Needs
In the competitive seo service providing market, the client intends to reduce time to market and keep a leading position. Thus, they turned to Shinetech for co-development of their core SEO product.
Based on the situation and requirements of the client, Shinetech recommended them to build a Mini ODC team. The benefit of this model is that the team has a small but flexible scale and the client can handle every phase of software development lifecycle with the minimum cost.

The Collaboration
The cooperation started from June, 2009 and there is a small but stable team for development including two developers now in Qingdao—Wang Cheng & Wang Jiangchuan, among which Wang Cheng is the lead developer being responsible for communicating with the client in specific demands. Now one more developer is needed because of increasing business needs.
In the first two or three months, our team contacted with the client via GoToMeeting on Skype to display project iteration everyday and provide constructive suggestions and improvements based on the client’s feedback. With the project going on, there come new problems and requirements, and our developer(s) tried more rapidly iterations and frequently work overtime at the request of the client. And this year, the team keeps on communicating with the client from 10 pm to 12pm every night in order to find out the specific development demands. All of that ensures the project run smoothly.
